Consumer prices increased in January by 0.2%, the biggest gain in four months. This was below economists estimates, who were expecting a 0.3% increase. In early trading the Dow is up 25 points, the Nasdaq is down 6 points and the S&P 500 is up 1 point.
Brightcove Inc. (NASDAQ:BCOV) is up 37.27% today at $15.10. BCOV has traded 2.6 million shares so far today. Brightcove shares opened 32% higher than its IPO price of $11 today. The company was valued at $382.8 million at its open price. One of Brightcove’s biggest shareholders includes Accel Partners which also holds an 11% stake in Facebook.
