Hot Stocks to Watch: KERX, INSP, RPRX, LYV, CSIQ, HOV

Wall Street signStocks are trading slightly higher today after recent declines due to ongoing euro zone problems. A better than expected jobless claims report has investors feeling a bit better today and has kept their minds away from Europe. Weekly jobless claims fell 1,000 to a seasonally adjusted 367,000. Analysts were expecting a slight increase to 369,000.

Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke said the financial sector including banks have improved, but could still do more. Bernanke did not say anything about monetary policy in prepared remakrs at a Chicago banking conference.

The Dow is up 42 points, the Nasdaq is down 0.30 points and the S&P 500 is up 5 points.

Keryx Biopharmaceuticals was upgraded to buy from neutral by Ladenburg Thalmann. The company has a market cap of 121.45 million.

InfoSpace, Inc. (NASDAQ:INSP) is up 23.77% in early trading at $13.59. INSP has traded nearly 800 thousand shares so far today, double its daily average. INSP stock is rising today after seeing quarterly profit rise in the first quarter. Net income rose to $11.4 million, or $0.28 per share in the first quarter. Revenue increased 124% to $115.7 million. The company has a market cap of 535.33 million.

Repros Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ:RPRX) is up 12.20% today at $4.69. RPRX has traded 360 thousand shares already today, way above its daily average of 67 thousand shares. Repros and the FDA reached agreement for Androxal registration program. The company has a market cap of 69.96 million.

Live Nation Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE:LYV) is up 9.33% this morning at $9.10. LYV has traded 1.2 million shares so far today, 200 thousand shares more than its daily average. Live Nation saw its first quarter loss expand, but did see a rise in revenue. The company posted a net loss of $69.2 million. The company has a market cap of 1.70 billion.

Canadian Solar Inc. (NASDAQ:CSIQ) is up 5.30% today at $3.38. CSIQ has traded 484 thousand shares so far today and averages 496 thousand shares a day on average. Canadian Solar announces first quarter results this morning. The company beat EPS estimates by $0.04, but missed on revenue. The company has a market cap of 146.30 million.

Hovnanian Enterprises Inc. (NYSE:HOV) is up 5.43% this morning at $1.84. HOV has traded 1.2 million shares so far today and trades 3.7 million shares a day on average. HOV shares are up 7.44% over the past week. The company has a market cap of 183.29 million.
