BPZ Resources, Inc. (NYSE:BPZ) is down 9.47% in midday trading at $3.06. BPZ has traded 1.1 million shares so far today and trades 1.9 million shares a day on average. BPZ announced first quarter results earlier today and reported an operating loss of $18.9 million and a net loss of $27.3 million. The company has a market cap of 353.38 million.

Salesforce.com, Inc. (NYSE:CRM) is down 8.48% today at $136.33. CRM has traded 6.1 million shares so far today, 3 times its daily average. CRM shares are down today after Cisco warned that companies are cautious right now about spending money on information technology. The company has a market cap of 18.73 billion.

Juniper Networks, Inc. (NYSE:JNPR) is down 5.84% today at $17.90. JNPR has traded 7.7 million shares so far today and trades 9.9 million shares a day on average. Shares of Juniper Networks are falling for the same reason as Salesforce.com. The company has a market cap of 9.36 billion.

Flotek Industries Inc. (NYSE:FTK) is down 5.87% today at $12.51. FTK has traded 1.51 million shares so far today, slightly above its daily average of 1.43 million shares. Flotek announced first quarter results late yesterday. Flotek reported revenue of $79.2 million, beating estimates of $75.6 million. EPS however, came in below expectations at $0.07 per share. Analysts were expecting $0.18 per share. The company has a market cap of 614.85 million.

MetroPCS Communications, Inc. (NYSE:PCS) is down 5.20% today at $7.11. PCS has traded 7.7 million shares so far today, above its average of 6.6 million shares. PCS shares have fallen more than $1 a share after rising $2 on merger rumors. The company has a market cap of 2.57 billion.
