NYSE Stocks to Watch: BAC, C, NOK, CHK, AMD, PHH

Nokia Corporation (NYSE:NOK) finished the day up about a half percent at $5.67. NOK shares have risen $0.40 a share over the past two days. NOK traded 31.5 million shares today and trades 30.8 million shares. NOK shares have been trending higher since the start of the new year in part thanks to their smartphone showing at CES. The company has a market cap of 21.04 billion.

Chesapeake Energy Corporation (NYSE:CHK) closed higher at $21.45, a gain of 3.08%. CHK traded 20.7 million shares today, 8 million shares more than its daily average. CHK was downgraded by Brean from buy to hold. The company is leveraged to lower natural gas prices. The company has a market cap of 13.72 billion.

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. (NYSE:AMD) closed the day up 4.19% at $5.97. AMD traded 19.9 million shares today, well above its daily average of 15.7 million shares today. AMD shares are up more than $1 over the past month. The company has a market cap of 4.16 billion.

PHH Corp. (NYSE:PHH) closed the day up 13.32% at $12.08. PHH traded 5.8 million shares today, more than twice its daily average. PHH shares jumped on news of a hedge fund, Hayman Capital, grabbing a nearly 8% stake in the company. The company has a market cap of 680.62 million.
