Winnebago shares are rallying today despite posting a surprising second quarter loss. WGO reported a loss of $0.03 versus estimates of $0.02 gain. Investors are focusing on news that backlog for the quarter improved on rising consumer confidence. The company has a market cap of 296.14 million.

Overseas Shipholding Group, Inc. (NYSE:OSG) has rallied 10.42% this afternoon at $11.22. Over 2.4 million shares of OSG have been traded so far today. OSG shares have jumped about $3 a share in the past week. The company has a market cap of 341.30 million.

USG Corporation (NYSE:USG) is up 9.15% today at 17.00. USG is up on heavy volume today with 4.2 million shares traded, well above its daily average of 3.1 million shares. USG Corp announced launch of $300 million cash tender offer and consent solicitation for 9.75% senior notes due 2014. USG shares are up more than $3 a share since last Friday. The company has a market cap of 1.79 billion.

Arch Coal, Inc. (NYSE:ACI) is up 8.22% this afternoon at $12.39. ACI has traded 11.6 million shares so far today, well above its daily average of 8 million shares. Arch Coal bounced today as it hit a new 52 week low of $11.25. The company has a market cap of 2.63 billion.

CSX Corporation (NYSE:CSX) is up 7.57% today at $21.73. CSX is up on heavy volume today with 22.1 million shares traded, more than double its daily average. CSX shares are rising today following a note from Deutsche analysts Justin Yagerman. Yagerman believes the recent slump in coal demand and the impact to the top freight railroad companies is overdone. In a note to clients he wrote, “Investors appear to be pricing in a materially worse earnings outlook than we believe is realistic.” The company has a market cap of 22.86 billion.

Suntech Power Holdings Co., Ltd. (NYSE:STP) is up 4.58% today at $3.20. STP has traded 3.2 million shares so far today and trades 3.7 million shares a day on average. The solar industry saw record growth in 2011 as solar companies installed more than double the number of panels they did in 2010. The company has a market cap of 579.99 million.

Nokia Corporation (NYSE:NOK) is up 6.48% today at $5.2650. NOK is trading above average volume today with 47.2 million shares traded. The company usually trades about 31 million shares a day. Nokia shares are rising today after the company confirmed they are building a tablet. The company has a market cap of 19.48 billion.
