Stocks In The Green In Morning Trading: EONC, TSON, NBG, DAL, NOK
The overall market is heading south today on worries over the euro zone. Italian bond yields hit a new record today as the debt crisis shows no sign of ending. The Dow is down 83 points, the Nasdaq is down 33 points and the S&P is down 10 points.
There are some stocks posting gains this morning though including eOn Communications Corp and TranS1, Inc.
eOn Communications Corp. (NASDAQ:EONC) is up 125.49% this morning at $2.30. EONC has traded 490 thousand shares so far today, way above its daily average volume of just 6 thousand shares. EONC did release a 10-Q yesterday. The company has a current market cap of 6.46 million.
TranS1, Inc. (NASDAQ:TSON) is up 29.21% today at $2.30. TSON has traded 468 thousand shares so far today, 4 times its daily average volume. TranS1 announced today that Palmetto GBA has removed its non-coverage policy for AxiaLIF effective January 1, 2012. TSON has been trending higher this week and is up more than $0.60 since Monday. TranS1 has a current market cap of 62.29 million.
National Bank of Greece (NYSE:NBG) is up 7.87% this morning at $1.92. NBG has traded 288 thousand shares so far today and trades 687 thousand shares a day on average. NBG stock is bouncing back slightly today after dipping from around $2.40 last Friday to a $1.78 yesterday. National Bank of Greece has a current market cap of 1.84 billion.
Delta Air Lines Inc. (NYSE:DAL) is up 1.19% today at $8.09. DAL has traded 3 million shares this morning and usually trades 12.4 million shares a day. Delta said it expects to make a profit of $800 million in 2011 and will be solidly profitable in 2012. The company has a current market cap of 6.89 billion.
Nokia Corporation (NYSE:NOK) is up 2% this morning at $5.09. NOK has traded 7.3 million shares so far today and trades 28.9 million shares a day on average. NOK has been trading in a range of $4.90 to $5.15 over the past week or so. Nokia has a market cap of 18.83 billion.
