Signet Jewelers Ltd (NYSE:SIG) is up 5.50% today at $45.04. The S&P announced yesterday Signet will be replacing Varian in the S&P MidCap 400 on November 10. SIG has is up on 50% higher volume with 1.5 million shares traded. The stock trades 982 thousand shares on average.The company has a current market cap of 3.87 billion.

HMS Holdings Corp. (NASDAQ:HMSY) is up $1.25 at $29.98, up 4.35%. HMSY has traded 937 thousand shares so far today after the company announced on November 7 it will purchase HealthDataInsights, Inc. for $400 million. The stock has a daily average volume of 691 thousand shares. The company has a current market cap of 2.56 billion.

Fuel-Tech Inc. (NASDAQ:FTEK) is up 22.28% today at $6.64. FTEK has traded 175 thousand shares today, already above its daily average of 158 thousand shares. Fuel Tech announced this morning they were awarded air pollution control orders worth $3.2 million. The company has a current market cap of 157.68 million.

MGIC Investment Corp. (NYSE:MTG) is up $0.27 at $3.19, a gain of 8.5%. MTG released operating statistics for October this morning. MTG has traded 10.8 million shares so far today, 2 million more than its daily average volume. The company has a current market cap of 637.27 million.
