Earnings Preview for Wednesday: ANF, PETM, TGT, VIV, SBH

Earnings season continues tomorrow with multiple big name companies releasing their quarterly earnings. Headlining tomorrow’s releases will be Abercrombie & Fitch Co. (NYSE:ANF) and Target Corporation (NYSE:TGT). Analysts are expecting Abercrombie & Fitch to have an EPS of $0.71 compared to $0.56 a year ago. Revenue is estimated to be at $1.07 billion, a 21% increase from a year ago. ANF closed down 2.71% on Tuesday at $55.95. Analysts are expecting Target Corp. to have an EPS of $0.74 versus $0.68 a year ago. Revenue is expected to be slightly higher at $16.27 billion, a 4.30% increase from the same quarter last year. TGT closed the day higher, up 1% at $53.18.

Other big names releasing earnings tomorrow include PetSmart, Inc. (NASDAQ:PETM), Vivendi SA (EPA:VIV) and Sally Beauty Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:SBH).

PetSmart is expected to have an EPS of $0.48 with revenue of $1.49 billion. This is compared to $0.38 and $1.39 billion a year ago. PETM closed Tuesday up 1.76% at $48.55. Vivendi SA releases earnings tomorrow as well. VIV closed down 2.55% today at $15.48. Analysts expect Sally Beauty Holdings Inc. to have an EPS of $0.27 for their most recent quarter. Revenue is expected to be $827.07 million, a 10.6% increase from a year ago. SBH closed down 1.08% today at $20.17.
