Greek Deal Buoys Futures. Stocks to Watch REGN, NBG, ZNGA, NFLX, AAPL, CZR, TSL

Over the weekend, the Greek cabinet and parliament approved the bailout deal that paves the way for the second round of funds to the struggling country. Instead of fireworks celebrating the deal, the Greek citizenry turned towards Molotov cocktails to voice their displeasure with the austerity cuts. Maybe one day the EU and IMF will figure out you cannot decimate your populace to growth.

The Dow futures are responding positively to the Greek news, up 85 points to 12,852. Nasdaq 100 futures are following suit, up 17.50 points to 2,556. The S&P 500 is rounding out the pre-market gains, adding 9.50 points to 1,350.

If the Greek deal sounds bit like deja vu, it is cause you have seen this movie before. The Greek government passes a bill that promises the moon, citizens go into the street to riot, and then the Greek government misses nearly all their economic targets laid out in the deal. Midday Movers: TSL, BAC, LNG, TRIP, AMSC, NBIX

Stocks have moved into positive territory in midday trading. Investors had little reaction to Greek news and better than expected economic data earlier. In fact, stocks were down a good part of the morning. The Dow is up 20 points, the Nasdaq is up 9 points and the S&P 500 is up 3 points.

Trina Solar Limited (NYSE:TSL) is up 24.27% today at $11.47. TSL has traded 14.6 million shares so far today, nearly 5 times its daily volume. TSL shares are up more than $3 a share over the past week. Trina Solar is expected to announce quarterly results later this month. The company has a market cap of 802.68 million.

Bank of America Corp. (NYSE:BAC) is up 1.48% in midday trading at $8.24. BAC has traded 360 million shares so far today, well above its daily average of 274 million shares. Some of the biggest banks in the U.S. including Bank of America agreed to $25 billion foreclosure settlement. BAC shares are actually down on the day after opening up at $8.31. The company has a market cap of 87.18 billion.

Cheniere Energy, Inc. (AMEX:LNG) is up 15.26% at $14.29. LNG has traded 15.4 million shares so far today and trades 5.3 million shares a day on average. LNG shares are up more than $5 in the past month. The company has a market cap of 1.15 billion.

TripAdvisor, Inc. (NASDAQ:TRIP) is down 14.94% today at $29.21. TRIP has traded 10 million shares so far today, 5 times its daily average. TRIP shares are falling today after reporting weak fourth quarter results. TripAdvisor earned $0.16 per share, analysts were expecting $0.24 per share.

American Superconductor Corporation (NASDAQ:AMSC) is down 9.20% in midday trading at $5.4750. AMSC has traded 1.5 million shares so far today, well above its daily average of 933 thousand shares. AMSC shares tumble as third quarter loss widens due to sales falling 43%. The company has a market cap of 282.04 million.

Neurocrine Biosciences, Inc. (NASDAQ:NBIX) is down 7.36% today at $8.68. NBIX has traded 1.4 million shares so far today, triple its daily average volume. NBIX shares take a dive on poor fourth quarter results. EPS was in line, but revenue missed and guidance was below consensus. The company has a market cap of 483.49 million.

Stocks Moving In The Final Hour: EGHT, NTCT, CISG, HDY, ENER, ZZ, TSL, JASO

Stocks are looking to finish in positive territory today thanks to earnings from banks, strong demand at bond auctions in Europe and decent jobs numbers. Spain and France both saw strong demand at their most recent government debt auctions. Closer to home, weekly jobless claims came in at 352,000. This is the lowest they’ve been in four years. Jobless claims under 375,000 show strength in the jobs market and can lower the unemployment rate. The indices are up in the last hour of trading with the Dow jumping 36 points, the Nasdaq up 18 points and the S&P up 6 points.

8×8 Inc. (NASDAQ:EGHT) is up 26.25% today at $4.30. EGHT shares are up after reporting earnings yesterday that exceeded expectations. EGHT reported revenue of $23 million and EPS of $0.04, both beating analysts estimates. EGHT has traded huge volume today with 6.3 million shares traded, ten times its daily average. The company has a market cap of 299.74 million.

NetScout Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:NTCT) is up 17.07% in afternoon trading at $19.97. NTCT has traded 1.1 million shares today, well above its daily average of 283 thousand shares. NTCT shares rose after their third quarter earnings beat estimates. The company reported an EPS of $0.35, beating estimates by $0.02. Revenue rose more than 9% to $83.3 million. The company has a market cap of 826.90 million.

CNinsure Inc. (NASDAQ:CISG) is up 24.89% in late day trading at $8.73. CISG shares jumped on big volume today with 987 thousand shares traded, well above its daily average of 354 thousand shares. No recent news today, but volume saw a big increase in the last few hours as traders poured into this stock. The company has a market cap of 437.53 million.

HyperDynamics Corporation (NYSE:HDY) is up 12.54% today at $3.23. HDY traded 4.1 million shares today, a million more shares than it trades on average. HDY shares are up more than $1 a share since mid December. The company has a market cap of 505.31 million.

Energy Conversion Devices (NASDAQ:ENER) is down 22.05% today at $0.99. ENER shares are falling on heavy volume with 14.3 million shares traded. ENER is selling off big today after seeing a jump of more than $1 a share this month. The company has a market cap of 52.74 million.

Sealy Corporation (NYSE:ZZ) is down 17.39% today at $1.52. ZZ has traded 1.9 million shares so far today, way above its daily average of 348 thousand shares. ZZ shares dipped today as analysts downgrade stock following lower quarterly sales. The company has a market cap of 153.25 million.

Trina Solar Limited (NYSE:TSL) fell 15.60% today at $8.28. TSL has traded 8 million shares so far today, more than twice its daily average. The solar sector was hit hard today after Germany said it will make monthly subsidy cuts to slow demand in the country. The company has a market cap of 583.25 million.

JA Solar Holdings Co., Ltd. (NASDAQ:JASO) is down 14.69% today at $1.80. JASO fell on big volume with 28 million shares traded, more than six times its daily volume. JASO shares fell for the same reason TSL shares fell. The company has a market cap of 296.38 million.
